3. User-Generated Content
3.1 Report Submissions
When you submit a report, you represent and warrant that:
- The information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You have witnessed the incident firsthand
- You own or have permission to upload any photos submitted
- The report does not violate any laws or third-party rights
3.2 Content License
By submitting content, you grant ReportCar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process your content for the purpose of operating the Service.
3.3 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate. Reports flagged as spam or malicious will be hidden from public view.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We automatically blur faces in uploaded images to protect privacy. However, you are responsible for ensuring you do not upload inappropriate or sensitive content.
5. Payments and Refunds

ReportCar offers the following pricing options:
- Free: 1 plate check per month
- Single Check: $2.99 per lookup
- Monthly Subscription: $4.99/month (unlimited checks)
- Annual Subscription: $39.99/year (unlimited checks)
5.2 Payments
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
5.3 Refunds
Single purchases are final and non-refundable. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, but no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
6.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy
Reports are submitted by users and are not verified by ReportCar. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the platform.
6.2 Not Legal Advice
ReportCar is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Do not use reports as evidence in legal proceedings without proper verification.
6.3 No Law Enforcement Affiliation
ReportCar is not affiliated with any law enforcement agency. Reports submitted through the platform are not official police reports and will not result in automatic legal action.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPORTCAR AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to ReportCar in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe:
- Violates these Terms of Service
- Harms ReportCar, our users, or third parties
- Exposes us to legal liability
- Is otherwise inappropriate or harmful
9. Changes to Terms
